I just tried the Sweet Lumpia at Disneyland and immediately had to write this review! It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with The Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland. This Adventureland snacking spot has so many treats that I want to order the entire menu every time I go. When it first opened, a new crispy treat, the Sweet Lumpia, debuted. However, original pineapple recipe has been swapped out for banana. But is it better?
No contest, the banana-jackfruit update to the Sweet Lumpia is a knockout! If you’re a fan of fried bananas, this treat is a must. The warm, sweet banana is perfectly complimented by the mild-flavored jackfruit. Finally, the caramel drizzle over the fried shell is the ideal topping!
You can get the Sweet Lumpia at the Tropical Hideaway in Disneyland for $6.99. I highly recommend that you place a mobile order because this popular spot tends to book up quickly. Sometimes you cannot walk up and pick up a snack as mobile ordering might be your only option. So plan and schedule your order hours before you go and that could help avoid spots running out.
