A fresh review for you of the Iron Man Repulsor Cannon for WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure in Avengers Campus! This attachment works with the ride for added, Avengers-themed fun.

After riding WEB Slingers for the first time in Avengers Campus, I felt like Disney built this attraction for me. Ever since the Nintendo Wii released all those years ago, I’ve been obsessed with interactive video games. In fact, my friends know that going with me to Disney California Adventure also means we’ll be riding Toy Story Mania multiple times!

So WEB Slingers—which feels like a super-advanced version of Toy Story Mania—is like a dream come true. The ride is incredibly responsive and allows you to shoot webbing out of your wrists at runaway robots! All you need are a pair of 3D glasses, and the effect magically shows up! The more bots you destroy with your webs, the more points your team gets. Points are tallied at the end of the game (and individually, for those who are feeling competitive).

But for those of us who want to use other superhero powers, there’s the option to upgrade. Disneyland introduced several new attachments to play WEB Slingers. I chose the Repulsor Cannon, an arm attachment that fires beams just like Iron Man!

To use the repulsor, you’ll need to buy two different pieces of equipment. The first is the WEB Power Band ($29.99) that acts like the battery. The second piece is the Repulsor ($24.99) that works as an attachment. Without the attachments, the WEB Power Band shoots a triple webbing shot during the game. When at home, you can also use the attachments for projecting images and training with a “levitating” sphere.

If you haven’t experienced WEB Slingers yet, I highly recommend playing without the attachment first. If you love the gameplay like I did, then go back and purchase the attachments before your second ride. The game also recognizes when you wear the attachments so both of your hands will shoot repulsor beams!

In addition, I seemed to rack up a lot more points using the cannons than I did the webbing. The Repulsor Cannons come in both blue (like the Rescue suit in Avengers: Endgame) and red like Iron Man. Find these devices all over Avengers Campus, including just outside the land at kiosks.
